What is the session about?
With more and more people building their own website, either personal or professional, we should think about how they appear on the internet with a friendly domain name. In this session Liam will show you how quick and simple it can be to connect a custom domain name to an App service in Azure.

To learn about domain names, the nuances and what is involved to get your website up and running on the world wide web with a friendly domain name.

Speaker Bio
Liam Hampton, Cloud Advocate
Liam is a Regional Cloud Advocate for Microsoft. He uses his wealth of knowledge to create fun and engaging developer content, blogs, workshops, events and speaking engagements. Liam has previous professional experience as a Software Developer working on and contributing to open source projects, mentoring global teams and leading local developer initiatives. He also holds a number of professional cloud certifications and was previously part of a team that reached the global finals of IBM Call for Code with an AI project. Liam now focuses his work around DevOps, IoT, serverless compute and containerisation.
