The R&D tax incentive is an important Australian government support program that provides a tax offset to encourage investment in R&D in Australia. The session will provide an overview of the program, as well as discuss some important updates including the new software R&D guidance, AusIndustry’s compliance framework and recent insights.

Cameron is a Director within the EY Government Incentives team based in Sydney. Cameron has over 11 years of experience in assisting companies to gain access to various Australian Government Incentives, including:

• The R&D tax incentive (compliance, advisory, disputes and R&D planning)
• State and federal grants (e.g. Accelerating Commercialisation, CRC-P, Export Market Development Grant)
• Early Stage Investor Incentives (ESIC)
• Other concessional loans and incentives.
