Microsoft Research Brings AI Innovation to Game Development
Microsoft has a rich history in machine learning and artificial intelligence. As a platform and service provider, research hub, and publisher of Xbox Game Studios, we bring these unique skillsets together in ways few companies can. We're excited to share a research-led innovation in reinforcement learning for game development. Game Stack Live will feature a panel discussion with Katja Hofmann – Principal Researcher for Game Intelligence, Keiji Kanazawa – Principal Program Manager for the Azure ML platform, and Haiyan Zhang – Chief of Staff for Gaming at Microsoft.
Simplygon 9 sets new bar for 3D content optimization
Simplygon is the standard in 3D games content optimization. Samuel Rantaeskola – Principal Program Manager for Simplygon will walk us through what's new with Version 9, which adds new Python and C# APIs, a native UE4 plugin, up to 10x faster Max & Maya integrations, and a new remesher that produces higher quality results.
