Simplygon Free adds support for Unity, Blender, & Python API
Over the past three years, Simplygon has offered a Free version of our award-winning, industry-leading 3D optimization technology. While many of the largest game studios around the world leverage our software, we're also passionate about enabling smaller studios to reduce their production time and development costs.
We're pleased to announce that we've added Unity, Blender and Python API integration for Free users, which will be available starting tomorrow, March 5th. All three are exceedingly popular tools in the indie-dev community, and so with this update we're making Simplygon even more accessible to a broader array of developers and studios. These three components make it easy to build optimization workflows where you need them in your preferred environment. The barrier to utilizing Simplygon in your titles has lowered significantly.
With more than 500 AAA games released that use our technology—including Control: Ultimate Edition, The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and more—Simplygon is the standard in 3D games content optimization. Via Simplygon, studios large and small can replace tedious and time-consuming manual work in 3D games content creation. We know that all developers love to focus on what they do best: making great games. As such, we're thrilled to enable even more studios to remove much of the optimization busywork from their plates.
