Update deviceCategory

Note: Using the Microsoft Graph APIs to configure Intune controls and policies still requires that the Intune service is correctly licensed by the customer.

Update the properties of a deviceCategory object.


One of the following permission scopes is required to execute this API:

Request body

In the request body, supply a JSON representation of a deviceCategory object. The following table shows the properties that are required when you create a deviceCategory.

Property Type Description
id String Unique identifier for the device category. Read-only.


If successful, this method returns a 200 OK response code and an updated deviceCategory object in the response body.
