Create directoryObject

Important: APIs under the /beta version in Microsoft Graph are in preview and are subject to change. Use of these APIs in production applications is not supported.

Note: Using the Microsoft Graph APIs to configure Intune controls and policies still requires that the Intune service is correctly licensed by the customer.

Create a new directoryObject object.


One of the following permission scopes is required to execute this API:

POST /deviceAppManagement/iosManagedAppProtections/{iosManagedAppProtectionId}/targetedSecurityGroups
POST /deviceAppManagement/androidManagedAppProtections/{androidManagedAppProtectionId}/targetedSecurityGroups
POST /deviceAppManagement/targetedManagedAppConfigurations/{targetedManagedAppConfigurationId}/targetedSecurityGroups

Request body

In the request body, supply a JSON representation of a directoryObject object. The following table shows the properties that are required when you create a directoryObject.
