Windows 10 build 16251

Release date: 07/26/2017

New Microsoft Edge features

  • We fixed an issue where text in the URL bar would move when URL bar received focus, which could make editing specific parts of a URL more difficult. Beginning with this build, the text under the cursor will remain the same when clicking on a URL.

New web platform features

  • Microsoft Edge will no longer re-scale sites when in Tablet Mode with narrow viewport width (such as in a snapped view or portrait orientation). This enables more natural behavior on modern responsive sites in tablet mode.
  • The about:flags menu has been cleaned up, removing experimental flags that are no longer necessary and simplifying the organization.
