Repro Steps:

Originally reduced from this real-world site: http://dlaa.me/blog/post/newblog

The following META works to light up Tools > Feed Discovery:

<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" href="http://dlaa.me/blog/rss" title="xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"/>

But adding one more character causes failure:

<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" href="http://dlaa.me/blog/rss" title="xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxY"/>

Expected Results:

Tools > Feed Discovery is available if a LINK REL=ALTERNATE tag is present with an application/rss+xml type.
