Steps to reproduce

URL = http://www.bing.com

 

Repro Steps:

  1. Enable the Norwegian (Bokmaal) keyboard

  2. Switch to “Norsk QWERTY” keyboard layout.

  3. Open up the desktop version of Internet Explorer 11.

  4. Navigate to bing.com.

  5. Click in the search field.

  6. Hold down the right Alt-key while pressing the button which is to the left of the backspace. Then release both keys.

  7. Press the letter 'e’.

Expected result: The letter ‘é’ (e with an acute accent).

Actual result: The letter ‘e’ (e without an acute accent).

Expected Results:

When my cursor is in a webform (textfield, textarea, …), hold down the alt key while pressing the ´ key (the key to the left of the backspace), releases both buttons then presses 'e’, the textfield should show a 'é’.
