Repro Steps:

A test page has been supplied here: http://postfix.futurete.ch/test.html

  1. Create a new XMLHTTPRequest object
  2. Register a handler onreadystatechange, which prints the instance’s readyState
  3. Open the xhr instance (expect readyState 1 to trigger)
  4. Send the xhr instance (expect readyState 2 to trigger, actual, readyStates 1 and 2 trigger)

Expected Results:

readyState should be fired only once, in supplied test case.

xhr.open() should cause a transition to readyState 1
xhr.send() should cause a transition to readyState 2 only
