URL:

Repro Steps:

==============

  1. Modify the setData() MSDN sample http://samples.msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/samples/author/dhtml/refs/setDataEX.htm by adding the following line to the dragOver event handler:

console.log("effectAllowed = " + evt.dataTransfer.effectAllowed);

Also add the following line to the dragStart event handler:

evt.dataTransfer.effectAllowed = "linkMove";

  1. Open the modified setDataEX.html in two different IE windows. Drag the black circle from one browser window (the “source window”) over the box in the other window (the “target window”). A SCRIPT65535 error is raised when the black circle is dragged over the box in the target window.

Expected Results:

==============

Getting the current effectAllowed value should not raise an error, per the HTML5 standard.

Actual Results:

==============
