Steps to reproduce

URL:

Repro Steps:

Download Switzerland_regions.svg
from
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6d/Switzerland_regions.svg

put the downloaded image in the same folder as svg.htm with this content (i changed the ids of a few items compared to the wikipedia original).

Click on the button called "Modify SVG".
In Firefox/Chrome downloads image.
In IE throws Security Exception.
But the image is on the same domain…
plus IE doesn’t support image.setAttribute('crossOrigin’, ‘anonymous’);
which could remedy this problem (if it was supported).
This is not necessary in Chrome/Firefox.
The code is correct, wouldn’t work in Chrome/FF otherwise.
It follows, the bug is in IE, as it always is…

Expected Results:

Image downloads (like in Chrome/Firefox)

Actual Results:

Dev Channel specific:

No
