Minimal code example:

var span = document.body.appendChild(document.createElement(‘span’));
span.appendChild(document.createTextNode(‘This-is’));
span.appendChild(document.createTextNode('-not-broken’));
span.normalize();

Chrome, Firefox show “This-is-not-broken”
IE (up to 11) show “isbroken”

Expected Results:

Expected Node#normalize to follow standard functionality as described in http://www.w3.org/TR/domcore/#dom-node-normalize. Certainly did not expect content to become corrupted.
