Steps to reproduce

Hi,

I’m using Edge to watch the news program on the national tv station’s website, which requires me to turn off Flash, otherwise I have no controls (volume, maximize, …).
This involves the following steps:
1 click More (…)
2 click Settings
3 scroll down
4 click View advanced settings
5 toggle "User adobe Flash Player
6 close settings pane

On the other hand, I use it to listen to Spotify, which requires me to turn on Flash.
So again, 6 steps to take to turn it on.
Is there a possibility to toggle Flash on and off with one click / keystroke / toolbar button / … - so some kind of quick access

  • possibility to create a keyboard shortcut
  • possibility to put a toggle button on the toolbar
  • possibility to put some shortcut on the favorites bar that toggles Flash

That would be a great improvement for me.

Thanks in advance

Stijn Bousard

Flash Click-to-Run: Microsoft Edge will now block untrusted Flash content is now blocked by default until the user explicitly chooses to play it. This means better security, stability, and performance for you, while preserving the option to run Flash when you choose.
