URL:
N/A (any)

REPRO STEPS:
IE 11.0.9600.16384 (Modern UI)
Win 8.1 (x64)

SHIFT DEL (CUT) in the address bar cuts off the last character when pasted to desktop…

  • any link
  • select all (in address bar)
  • CTRL-INS (COPY) or copy/cut from menu work fine
  • if you use keyboard to CUT (SHIFT-DEL specifically) - it works fine if within the Modern UI
  • if you do SHIFT-DEL and immediately go to desktop mode and e.g. paste to Notepad - it shows the links w/o the last character
  • back to Modern UI, paste also shows the link w/o the missing character

EXPECTED RESULTS:
CUT should paste the whole link of course

ACTUAL RESULTS:
link pasted (into desktop e.g. notepad) has the last char missing
