Steps to reproduce

Issue

When I include an inline SVG image within a flexbox element, on attempting to print/print preview IE 11 crashes.

Current version of IE11 that I’m working with is 11.0.38

Attached html contains a sample code where a flex container has 2 flex items. Within one of them I’ve added a sample SVG circle image taken from https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/SVG/Element/circle, but it basically crashes for any inline svg.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open attached html file in IE11
  2. Do Print Preview
  3. Crash

Workarounds

Some solutions I found online were that I set svg elements to do
svg {position: absolute}

I’ve also figured out that setting the wrapper element as inline-block also prevents the crash
.svg-wrapper {display: inline-block}
