Steps to reproduce

If you include a html audio file, eg. a MP3 using the <audio > tag (let’s say 400 kb) and refresh the page, each refresh does not clear everything from memory.

So making a simple HTML page with a <meta refresh =1 second> and an <audio src="dummy.mp3" …etc>

Then open the developer pane (F12) and start profiling memory usage.

Now load the page and it will reproduce this issue… alternative hit F5 to page reload/refresh it faster.

I closed my Edge after it had increased from it’s default/minimum 43 mb up to approx 400 mb.
