      Changed Steps to Reproduce

    •   The Edge team has investigated and it appears the server with the HLS manifest doesn’t respond to the request to download it. So this is failing before the Edge media engine even has a chance.  Safari on OS X tries to use the HLS manifest src but can’t download it.

The recommendation for Nest is to either have the HLS manifest and video content to be downloadable or perhaps switch to MSE, either option works for Edge.

We have outreached to Nest regarding this issue.

    • Issue has been Fixed.  Security Cam feeds working in Edge and IE.  Though there is a perf issue in Edge causing slower loading and it is being investigated.

    • home.nest.com was working up until yesterday for me. it now just stuck with nest logo spining.
