Steps to reproduce

Hi Support,

we created a UWP App that hosts a webview control. If we install this app in assigned access on any Windows 10 Pro Device with a touch screen the on screen keyboard will not open when user enters any input field.

We think this is a system bug.

    • Hi Alexander,

Can you let me know if you are still seeing this issue in the
      Creators Update?

      Sorry for the delay.
      If you
let me know that this is still an issue, I will work on this immediately.

      Appreciate your patience and support,

      Steve

    • Hi,

Just checking in on this bug report.  Can you send me a repro for this?  I know this sounds like a simple item to repro but having user’s submit a known repro saves time and eliminates differences in environment and configuration, etc. as a possible issue.

      Thank you

    • Hi Steven.

Also experiencing this issue with 15063.483. Custom UWP with nothing but a webview taking 100% of the page. Side loaded onto kiosk machines, and set to launch via Assigned Access. URL loads on page load, and when I click any HTML text element, no keyboard appears.

Happy to provide any info/code, as need a fix by beginning September so willing to try anything.

      Cheers
