    •   The Edge Team has investigated and for a little background, Edge used to support “navigator.mimeTypes[“application/x-shockwave-flash”].enabled” but now on Windows Insiders Build Flash is blocked by default the above is undefined.

      Here is the logic used on the page to identify if Flash or HTML5 video is used for each browser.

      (e = void 0 === k.tech || “auto” === k.tech ? !(f.indexOf(“Safari”) > -1 && f.indexOf(“Chrome”) < 0 && f.indexOf(“IEMobile”) < 0) && Hls.isSupported() && “undefined” == typeof a.RTCPeerConnection || f.indexOf(“Edge”)

      -1 && f.indexOf(“Mobile”) < 0 ? [“FlashHlsPP”]
      : Hls.isSupported() && “undefined” != typeof a.RTCPeerConnection || h.canPlayType(“application/x-mpegURL”) ? ["Html5Hls", “Html5”]

      For Edge UA string Flash video is used.  (https://msdn.microsoft.com/library/hh869301(v=vs.85).aspx)

      The recommendation to the site owners is to remove f.indexOf(“Edge”)
      so that Edge will also receive the HTML5 content which will allow the video to work.
