Steps to reproduce

I have a few issues with Microsoft edge. First, when I move my boomarks around, and after I close the window, they go back to where they were before. I also cannot delete my bookmarks most of the time. I’ll right click on one of them and click delete, and they’ll stay there. Also, just now when I searched “report issues with Microsoft Edge” with Bing, I tried to click on the first link and I couldn’t. It didn’t open. I tried searching again but it didn’t work. I had to close the window and research for it to finally work. Really frustrated with this browser.

  • Hello,

We are unable to repro these problems with our builds. Please let us know the specific version of Edge and provide a video capture of the problem if possible.

It will also help if you can run dxdiag and click Save All Information to paste your hardware specs in your reply.

Please feel welcome to reactivate this case once you have the information we need.

    Best Regards,
    The MS Edge Team

  • Hello,
I have taken a few recordings of my edge browser malfunctioning. I really don’t know how to attach them to this comment thread but I don’t really care anymore. I am completely done with microsoft edge. It’s been being glitchy from the first time I used it and I am not using it anymore. I honestly wish I could uninstall it from my computer.
    Thanks for nothing.

  • Hello,

We hope these issues have already been addressed and resolved in our latest Creator’s Update 15063; if not we can still investigate any remaining problems for our Insider Build.

Just below “Steps to reproduce” at the top of this page, you should see “Attachments” and a link to "+ Add an attachment".

Please test this behavior in our latest creator’s update 15063 or the insider build 16188. Let us know if you still have the reported problems and if anything in the repro steps needs to change.

    Best Wishes,
    The MS Edge Team

  • Well it seems like you guys are screwing me every single time I try to do anything related to microsoft edge. I’m trying to upload my video clips and after I uploaded the first one, every single time I try to upload another, the page glitches and the first one gets reuploaded. So now hopefully you can see my problem just from the first video, because I am unable to upload any others. Probably because of this glitchy page.
    Again, thanks for nothing.

  • Hello,

Thank you for providing more information about the issue. After thorough testing, we are unable to reproduce such problems in Edge14393. Please upgrade Edge to the Creator’s Update 15063 and let us know how it is the same. If problems still persist, please run dxdiag (Windows key + r and type dxdiag, enter, then click Save all Information) and attach the txt file.
