Steps to reproduce

Every few days, after startup, Microsoft Edge is offline. All pages give “Hmm, we can’t reach this page.” error. However, I am online with all other browsers and apps. No proxy used, no security program blocking Edge. Network troubleshooting can’t find the problem, because there is no problem. Edge just does not access network, period. Each time this happens, it is out randomly for between one hour and one day. Restarting does not solve problem. Starting in Safe Mode does not resolve issue. It’s a random waiting game. When it comes back online, Start page settings are lost. Favorites and history are intact, but Suggest Content sites are also lost, as if I’ve never used it before. No suggestions in other forums work, either.

This has been happening for about a month now, and I will soon stop using Edge at all.

    It would also be useful if you could include additional diagnostic data.  Will you send the output of dxdiag?  Start - Run - dxdiag - Enter

    Curious to hear if you are still having this issue?  I am confident we can help.

    Another suggestion is checking the IE settings in the “Internet Properties” control panel (inetcpl.cpl).  Some of the settings there affect Edge.

    We were not able to repro this issue in the latest Edge releases and will be changing the bug’s state to ‘fixed’ at this time as there have been multiple fixes and performance improvements since you reported this issue.  If you can reproduce this issue in a current version, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can re-open this issue.
