  • As far as I can see, it is a website issue:

    commercial-insurance-toronto@2x.png = 404, not found

So the “alt” text will be displayed instead.

  • I hope “Markdown” will now display it right:

  • Hi David,

It looks like the high device-pixel-ratio logo was being referenced and wasn’t found?

Let us know if you are still having any issues with your site on Edge and thanks to Dirk for the help as well.

  • when the website first starts to load in Microsoft Edge, the Logo in the top left corner appears for a couple of second, then disappears. This does not happen in Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox. This was not done on purpose or 'by design’. So we are still having problems and would appreciate an easy to understand solution to the problem. Note that there is a similar logo on the bottom of the page that displays properly in MS Edge.

  • The logo also disappears with IE11, Opera Developer 45, Firefox Release, Beta, Developer and Nightly for me. All 64-bit builds.
    Windows 10 x64 Build 15063

Did you clear your browser cache and cookies?
I think then you should have the same result.

  • I have a windows 10 laptop. my caches have been cleared, and the problem re-ocurred exactly as described when I reported the problem.
I also viewed the commercialinsurancetoronto.ca website on an apple laptop. There were no problems with the site using chrome or safari on the macbook pro.
To recap, the problem with the logo in the websites top left corner not displaying properly only occurs with Microsoft Edge. I’d appreciate if somebody from microsoft would investigate the problem

  • Hello David, thanks for filing the bug. I’m looking at this on Windows 10 Edge 15 and am seeing the same 404 of the 2x image being fetched in both Chrome & Edge. I have attached my attempt at reproing this issue and named it img-not-working.png. For what it’s worth Firefox is doing the same thing but I did not include them in the screenshot.
