      Any update on this issue?

    • Hi,

Can you provide a repro for this?  A repro saves us time as we are more likely to reproduce the same issue you are reporting.

    • Hi,

Yes for example surf to, this website has included msconfig meta tags for custom tiles (small and medium).

See the result when pinning the website and resize the tile to small between the two builds.

    • I have noticed this too … it honours large and wide sizes, but small defaults to the favicon … windows before creators update does not have issue.

Separate but linked issue is that it re-colours the favicon - try it with google maps etc

    • I have posted the recolouring issue as a separate bug at

    • Could be to do with the code used to create folders of items on the start menu … in which case it is a windows bug, not an Edge one.

    • And now? Any update?
