Microsoft Edge freezes and returns an error while loading the Netflix video player for the first time in the browser session

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Microsoft Edge;

  2. Go to the Netflix website (http://www.netflix.com) and sign in to an account;

  3. Choose any content to watch and start playback;

  4. The video player will begin to load, during this process the browser tab will freeze and when returning the player will be presenting an error message with the code H7353.

Please update this case when you can provide more details, such as screenshots and run dxdiag (Windows key + r and type dxdiag, enter, then click Save all Information) and attach the txt file.

  • Precisely the same issue here. In addition trigger mentioned by Wesley, I have also observed that pausing a video for an extended period of time and then attempting to resume play also causes this error to occur. I would attach a DxDiag .txt file, but I do not see any facility to do so.
