=======================================================================

Hi, I’m having some important issues with some HLS streamings. Some of them are impossible to see because the audio has an heavy stuttering. This problem got important since Creators Update, where none of my devices can play some streams correctly (With Anniversary Update I got almost no problems).
I’ve this problem on:

  • Surface Pro 2 - Windows 10 15063.250 - Microsoft Edge 40.15063.0.0 - Microsoft EdgeHTML 15.15063
  • Xbox One - Windows 10 15063.2019 (I don’t know where to get Edge versions on this)
  • Lumia 1520 - Windows 10 15063.2 - Microsoft Edge 40.15063.2.0 - Microsoft EdgeHTML 15.15063 (on this device, I’m getting heavy video frame freeze too)

I’ve tried downloading the single .ts files and they play without problems using the default Film app on Windows 10. No problems on Opera and Firefox too. Connection speed is OK (I tried multiple operators)

Works a lot better on

  • Lumia 950XL - Windows 10 14393.1066 - Microsoft Edge 38.14393.1066.0 - Microsoft EdgeHTML 14.14393

    • I’ve updated today my Lumia 950XL (the same model which I talked about in my initial post) officially to Windows 10 Mobile 15063.251 (Microsoft Edge 40.15063.251 - Microsoft EdgeHTML 15.15063) and now I’m getting the same audio stuttering problem.

      I tried an “Onda Obook 10 Pro” too, with Windows 10 Desktop 14393.693 (Microsoft Edge 38.14393 - Microsoft EdgeHTML 14.14393) and the streaming plays without problems.

      I’m pretty sure that’s a problem available only from the “Creators Update” version of Microsoft Edge.
