Steps to reproduce

  1. Save the HTML below to a file
  2. Open the file in Edge or IE 11
  3. Drag the “Good” image. Note that the image is displayed while dragging
  4. Drag the “Bad” image. Note that the images is not displayed while dragging.

    • Thanks for reporting the issue. Based on the issue’s severity, it’s however unlikely to ever get fixed on its own. I’m therefore currently resolving as Won’t fix, and keeping on the long-term backlog.

    • I am also facing this problem. Draggable elements such as png or jpeg images are having a ghost image or thumb image while dragging. But if I use an svg in html img element with draggable true, it doesnt show the ghost image of that svg while dragging. It should be also be fixed in winJS UWP app because winJS UWP apps are using edge browser engine
