  • Hello,

We hope to implement the audio-player fix in the current insider build of Edge, and we might be able to backport the solution to previous versions of Edge; however, this will take some time. The browser is just a place to see your WhatsApp conversations; you won’t need to export or migrate anything. Unfortunately, it appears your phone is always required in order to use WhatsApp. So, simply open chrome, go to the WhatsApp website and scan the QR code with your phone.

    Best Wishes,
    The MS Edge Team
