Steps to reproduce

operation system version : Windows 10 Creators Update (version 1703) Edge

###html code :

<input type="file" name=“uploadTest”>
</form>

###javascript code:

// I used newest jQuery lib
var formData = new FormData( $(“form”)[0] );
$.ajax({
url: "xxx.cgi",
type: "POST",
data: formData,
processData: false,
contentType: false,
success: function(){
console.log(“ok”);
},
error: function(){
console.log(“error”);
}
});


  1. I used HTML5 API FormData and ajax to upload files it will failed every time.
    ( website is not support https )
  2. I also test it without jQuery ,it also failed ( no matter files type and size )
  3. other win10 Edge behavior is ok
  4. other browser behavior is ok

      Can you also provide the cgi/server code you are using for this test?

      A complete repro attached to this bug report would be very helpful.  Copy and pasting the code does not always come through very well, E.g. the query selector for “form” was converted in a not useful way.
