Steps to reproduce

Browser:

Microsoft Edge 38.14393.1066.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open https://jsfiddle.net/f1ames/h0y7md0v/6/
  2. Inspect h2 Title element

Current result:

Extra css property border-image: none; has been added to style attribute in h2.

Browser:

Internet Explorer 11

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open https://jsfiddle.net/f1ames/h0y7md0v/6/
  2. Inspect h1 and h2 Title element

Current result:

Extra css property border-image: none; has been added to style attribute in h1 and h2.

Expected result:

No extra css properties in style attribute.

  • Yes, I can confirm I have seen that one in the past, too. Seems like a hack a dev added to reset border-image when the border property was set. Based on user impact, I doubt we will be able to fix this anytime soon, unfortunately. Still worth keeping on the backlog as a beacon, I apparently never a similar issue myself.

  • We have triaged this issue and given overall impact and severity of it - this is not something we’d fix in the next few releases, so I’ll resolve this as Won’t Fix
