Steps to reproduce

I am developing an app using angular 4 using ng server (localhost:4200) and i can send requests across all browsers except edge. When my apps start are all fine but when i am trying to send an http request it returns me this error message. As i understood is something similar with cors but i can’t understand why you block localhost domain.

XMLHttpRequest: Network Error 0x80070005, Access is denied.

    • Thanks for filing this issue! Microsoft Edge blocks localhost loopback in order to minimize the attack surface exposed to our users. Since this is part of our efforts to help keep users safe and secure on the web, we currently do not have any plans to change this behavior.

    • Scott L. Thank you for the reply. I also am running into this issue. In my about:flags I have the Allow localhost loopback enabled, but still run into this error.
