  • Hi, It might be just my machine, after restart it is ok for a good few hours.

  • I’m having the same problem. Looks just like the picture they attached.

  • I exited out of all my tabs and restarted edge and this worked but there is definitely a bug.

  • Hello, I’m having the same problem with Edge. My setup is a Surface Book with a secondary 4k Samsung Monitor connected via the Surface Dock. This problem persists through both screens once it happens. It usually starts after I open edge on the 4k monitor and move it to the Surface Book display. Also, on the secondary monitor, when the window is opened but not maximized, the complete image can be seen, but once I maximize it then the problem happens.

  • Left Edge open over night on my second monitor, resized window and get this issue. Drag Tabs away and they display OK. Create new tab and right and bottom resized areas are invisible. Close and open Edge, error goes away.

  • Yes I too have the same issue. So after hunting for this I found a thread that seems to solve the issue…

Open File Explorer and from the left column, right-click This PC.
From the drop-down menu, click Properties.
Click Advanced system settings in the left column.
Now click the Settings box under Performance.
The Visual Effects tab reveals all the visual features Windows loads by default.

Un-Check “Show Window Contents While Dragging” & OK.

Close the dialogues, Restart Edge and I have had no problems since doing the above. I do also turn off most of the “Fade…” and “Animate…” stuff to get better performance but they don’t appear to affect this issue.

But I really hope MS will fix this issue - I really like to have that Show Contents while dragging turned on. And it IS only affecting Edge - nothing else.
