Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the Netshoes website (http://www.netshoes.com.br);

  2. At the top of the site, click on the “Homens” category from the main menu. If you prefer, access directly through the following link: http://www.netshoes.com.br/masculino

  3. A warning from Microsoft Edge will appear at the bottom of the browser asking if you want to download a .js file

  • Hi,

    Thank you for the submission.  This will happen when the MIME type or “Content-Type” is not understood by the browser.

    I looked at the network details in Edge’s debugger and found an entry that had the “Content-Type” set to ‘js’ which is not understood by Edge as it is not a proper content type for javascript.  Because of this when Edge is given a response with content it does not understand it will download it.  I have attached two screenshots showing an understood Content-Type and one that is improper from the site you gave me.

    In summary, the site owner needs to update their site to correct this issue.
