Steps to reproduce

After installing the Windows 10 Creators Update, Microsoft Edge has a problem losing keystrokes when entering data into ALL web pages. The focus seems to constantly be switching away from the field being entered into therefore not all characters being entered are shown as you type into the field.
The keyboard is Microsoft Wireless comfort keyboard 5000 with latest driver.
All other web browsers installed on the PC (e.g. Chrome, IE 11, Opera) and all other apps in Windows 10 do not have this issue.
This issue with Microsoft Edge did NOT happen before installing the Creators update.

  • An example is as per the attachment. I typed in “Ross Wells” and all that appeared was "sl".
    Is this a known problem with the Creators version of Microsoft Edge?
    Until this issue is resolved, I have had to revert to IE 11 and Google Chrome as my browsers.

  • This issue is currently happening to an MS domain connected machine after the 10/13 updates KB4022405 and KB4041676. It’s happening alongside https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/platform/issues/14280155/

    Thank you for the new information.  For troubleshooting, please uninstall the updates and confirm the expected behavior has been restored. Next, please reinstall the updates KB4022405 and KB4041676 to confirm the expected behavior has been lost.

  • This issue appears to have resolved after updates to the operating system (Version 1703 Build 15063.674). I’m currently on Microsoft Edge 40.15063.674.0
