Steps to reproduce
I’m using some modal windows on a website and notice a bug on the CSS rendering.
When a element with position:fixed is inside a parent (not especially a direct parent) with overflow: hidden the fixed element is hidden by overflow:hidden.
With reference to the W3C:
“An element with position: fixed; is positioned relative to the viewport, which means it always stays in the same place even if the page is scrolled. The top, right, bottom, and left properties are used to position the element.”
