Steps to reproduce

  1. Access https://codepen.io/SaschaNaz/pen/VzWdma which uses `sans-serif`, `serif`, `initial` and real undefined implicit initial value for each paragraph.

Expected: Implicit and explicit initial value should show identical behavior.

Actual: implicit initial value uses serif for Latin alphabets, sans-serif for Japanese Kana, and unexpected legacy font Gulim for Korean Hangul, whereas explicit initial value uses serif for all characters.

  • Ah, my bad, this is by design. revert should be used if one wants user-agent initial default value :/

Please close this issue, sorry. (I will post another issue for the unexpected legacy font)
