Using input type=date with min="1990-01-01", max="2999-12-31" reloads tab twice and then crashes it.

Unfortunately, the update didn’t fix any issue. It simply set the year min and max threshold as, min="1753-01-01" max="2751-12-31".

This is unacceptable as Chrome has no issue with any min or max date.

    • Hi Lewis,

This issue is when used with Angular?  I tested the following demo and was able to enter the min and max dates you listed in the title.

Will you provide the version extended version of Windows 10 you are using?  Win + S enter ‘winver’ and press enter.

Perhaps I am running the test incorrectly?  I did not see a submit button, however, I did see the calendar update when I entered the date in the “Popup” section.

      Appreciate the support,

    • Nope. I am not using Angular.

You can go to this page -

Change the max to 2999-12-31, and try it out. It is the same issue.

    • My extended version of Windows is Version 1703 (15063.540)

      Windows 10 Enterprise

    • Thank you, that repro’d the issue easily.  I will test in insider and development releases now.
