Steps to reproduce

Hello,

For the last few days, Microsoft Edge, the windows Mail application, and Cortana have not been working correctly.

When I try to open Microsoft Edge, it instantly goes to a page saying “Hrmmm….we cannot seem to open the webpage” for every website I go to. When I try to open Cortana, it only reads “Go ahead and tell me to do something. Interests aren’t available at the moment.” When I use mail, when I try to add an email account, for every email provider on the list, outlook, gmail, yahoo mail, when I click on it says that there was a problem connecting and try again later.

However, this is what’s REALLY strange.

Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are both working perfectly fine, I can load websites in them and all, and mail has no trouble getting mail from and sending mail from the Gmail account I have already attached to it (my keifer.bly@gmail.com)

OS: Windows 10 Pro
Dell XPS Laptop.

      I believe this is a duplicate bug report.  Can you review this bug report and let me know if it is your issue and if the fix works for you?

      Run this command in an administrator powershell to see if the issue I referred to above is the same issue:

      Get-Acl HKLM:\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters | Format-List

      You are having the issue if you DO NOT have the following entries in the output of the Get-Acl command.
               APPLICATION PACKAGE AUTHORITY\ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES Allow  ReadKey
               APPLICATION PACKAGE AUTHORITY\Your Internet connection Allow  ReadKey
               APPLICATION PACKAGE AUTHORITY\Your Internet connection, including incoming connections from the Internet

      And doing this appears to have resolved the issue (at least for now) thank you.
