Steps to reproduce

Background:

  • Microsoft Edge 41.16296.0.0

  • Microsoft EdgeHTML 16.16296

  • Windows 10 Build 16296.rs3_release.170919-1503

Observed behavior

  • Side-load an extension with a background script (I only tried with Service Worker Detector)

  • Click "Inspect: Background script"

  • F12 opens, but is blank

Expected behavior

  • Side-load an extension with a background script (I only tried with Service Worker Detector)

  • Click "Inspect: Background script"

  • F12 should open with contents
