Steps to reproduce

Edge/IE 11 both reproduce this word wrapping bug.
If I have an inline element with a very long word, Edge will not wrap that element properly and allow it to overflow the bounds of its container.

See the screenshots for the working FF example and the broken Edge example

  • I’m using Edge on Windows 10 with all the latest patches and I still see word-wrapping issues with Hangouts (https://hangouts.google.com/). I can supply images if it helps; feel free to email me.

  • I have the same issue which is why I don’t use Edge. It doesn’t wrap words in Hangouts, it’s so annoying. You’ll be writing something and instead of it wrapping the word to the next line, it cuts it in half. Not sure if formatting is supported here but if I’m typing the word “today” and I’m at the end of the window, it will write it like “to” and then “day” on the next line. So annoying.
