Steps to reproduce

see: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/platform/issues/13962174/

I created a new ticket since I was afraid you woudn’t read a “fixed” ticket.

Is there ANY possible way you guys would also update grid to work in IE 11 without the prefixes and to use the current Grid spec. Currently you have to had the row and column index to every element. Going forward with Grid for other browser, this is not a requirement. This is a deal killer for dynamic content and also a pain to use.

Everytime I view a page like this: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/platform/status/cssgridlayout/?q=grid … it infuriates me to no end that as a developer we still can’t do things like use grid in our websites b/c your not also updating IE 11 to use it.
Kill IE 11 for all care… but if your going to keep it alive, then help us out here.

Why are you listing IE 11 support information on this portal then?

    • I really wasn’t going to, but I have to add this… that link to “Microsoft Support service offering” is a black box and not intuitive as to how to add an issue like this. IE 11 and web standards is not limited to the operating system, but that site makes them mutually exclusive. I’m guessing this is how this type of thing is handled.
