Steps to reproduce

We have a problem trying to play any video on Microsoft Edge. Doesn’t work on YouTube, Vimeo, <video> HTML5 tag…

We’ve also tried different video formats/codecs. It works on Chrome and Firefox as expected.

Edition: Windows 10 Pro N
Version: 1703
OS Build: 15063.674
System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Microsoft Edge: 40.15063.674.0
Microsoft EdgeHTML: 15.15063

As user we see a blank rectangle where the video should be.

Test videos:

Microsoft Edge show this console errors:

Local: Unexpected call to method or property access. - While trying to use .play() via JavaScript
YouTube: TypeError: Object doesn’t support property or method 'canPlayType’
VIMEO: TypeError: Object doesn’t support property or method 'canPlayType’

We’ve also tried to reset, repair and reinstall Edge
