    • I’m having the exact same issue after a reset of windows 10.

      Microsoft Edge 41.16299.15.0
      Microsoft EdgeHTML 16.16299

I can search, but clicking on any link in Bing search results makes Edge hang.

Following tips from this article has resolved my issue: http://www.surfacetablethelp.com/2017/11/high-cpu-usage-with-state-repository-service-in-windows-10-fall-creators-update.html

It appears to be some bug with the State Repository Services in the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. I noticed high CPU usage via this service while doing anything in Edge.

    • Great support from the “Edge Team” here huh?

Andrew B. thanks for the link, it solved my problem.
