Steps to reproduce

go to in Edge and Firefox (my laptop is at 200% system scaling) and look at how jagged the top text looks in Edge compared to Firefox, and look at how awful the small circled “R” looks. I’ve attached a screenshot for comparison, Edge is obviously the top and Firefox is the bottom. I’m not sure if this is a text rendering issue or an image rendering/scaling issue but please fix this!

  • /r/firefox recently got a makeover and that element (the one in the included screenshot) has changed, I hope this bug is still fixed though because I’m certain the /r/firefox top logo was not the only place that had jagged scaling

  • some new information about this from the person in charge of design at r/Firefox “It was a PNG image that was notably higher resolution than the area it occupied (to allow for hidpi displays) and was scaled down with background-size.”

I hope this helps! Edge shouldn’t have such blocky jagged scaling
