Edge crashing since upgrading to 1709

Steps to reproduce

Since we upgraded our company computers to 1709, Edge is crashing immediately after opening. This happens on about 6 of 10 Computers. We stopped the rollout of the remaining 30 computers immediately after noticing, and we can work around this using IE11. But it is very inconvenient. I hope for a quick fix and will assist you if you need more data. Please find attached (private attachement) a bunch of event log entries from one of the affected computers.

      Sorry for the long delay.  Are you still having this issue?  I investigated the error code from the event data you sent.  I See that there was a fix released with the same or similar signature as this one for msiso.dll.

    • Issue is still around. I opened a ticket with Microsoft last year and they are still working on it.

    • Will you provide the extended version of Windows 10 you are using now?  Win + S and type “winver” and hit enter.
