Steps to reproduce

My computer updated yesterday. Suddenly I have Internet Explorer which I don’t want and tried to uninstall but is not listed on my programs and Windows Defender won’t allow me update a program I’ve been using for 3 yrs. I’ve turned off real time protection and it still won’t let my program work.

    • Hi Loretta,

If you want to remove IE you can through the "
Turn Windows features on or off" control panel.  Just type “Turn windows features” in the Start Menu Search Bar and you should see the control panel.

Can you give me more information about the program not being able to be used?  Perhaps it is a Windows firewall setting?  Also, sometimes when you download an upgrade you need to ‘unblock’ it by right clicking on the downloaded file and select properties and then check the ‘unblock’ checkbox.

I don’t see any reason why we won’t be able to get your program working again.

      Steve
