Steps to reproduce

URL:

Repro Steps:

//1. html page 1
<html>
<head></head>
<body>
<form name=form1 method=post>

</form>

//2. open a new modal window
<javascript>
var myObject = new Object();
myObject = window;
window.parent.document.body.style.cursor="default";
var strStatus = window.showModalDialog(URL,myObject, “dialogWidth:500px;dialogHeight:500px;dialogLeft:0px;dialogTop:0px;status:no;scroll:yes;help:no;center:yes;”);
if (strStatus“submit” || strStatus“”) {
form1.submit();
}else if(strStatus=="windowClose") {
window.close();
}

</javascript>

</body>
</html>

//3. In the resulting modal dialog, try and reference the parent page:
<script>
parent.frames.window.dialogArguments.window.document.form1.submit();
</script>

This will result in the error: Unable to get property ‘window’ of undefined or null reference

Expected Results:

I never had a problem referencing window.dialogArguments before updating to IE 11.0.15. I specifically tested on a machine that was pre 11.0.15 to verify that everything worked fine. Then updated to IE 11.0.15 and now get the error all my customers are calling me about

Actual Results:

Dev Channel specific:

No
