Steps to reproduce

sign in to twitter and scroll up and down. Notice the top bar moves slightly during scrolling. That bar is supposed to be perfectly still and stable during scrolling, it’s a bit distracting, please fix this. I’m sure twitter is not the only site effected by this

  • Hi Will,

This was a known issue.  It is a duplicate, however the bug was reported internally and so it is not publicly visible.  I just tried to repro this on 16299.19 and it is no repro.  I am not certain which release the fix went info but it has been corrected.

Can you tell me which release you are using, I.e. 15063.xxx.  Win + S, then type ‘winver’ and press enter.

    Appreciate the submission,

  • I’m on version 1703. The movement is very subtle and small, probably only 1 pixel of movement during scrolling. I’m sure many people would not notice it but it still should be fixed

  • Thanks for reporting this issue! Are you able to try on the most recent Windows Insider Preview Fast Build (17056)? I used to be able to reproduce this, but I believe some recent work we did addressed this since I can no longer repro. If you can still repro, please reactivate this bug and I’ll get it back on our backlog. Thanks again!

  • Changed Status from “Not reproducible”

  • I just updated to 1803 and am still seeing this new version of Edge. Another site to repro this on is Google News, go here and observe the top bar moving approx. 1 pixel during scrolling https://news.google.com/news/headlines?hl=en-CA&ned=ca&gl=CA
