Steps to reproduce

I am running a MySQL backed with Xataface front end. The front end uses a query to form a drop down list, and it may have hundreds of items. The page loads first, and the drop down list is generated in a lazy load type fashion.

In Chrome, this works fine. But in Edge, the drop down list never comes alive. In fact, the tab becomes frozen and unresponsive.

    • This issue does not include a repro but we have seen similar cases already, so I’m going to dupe it against the one we are currently tracking.

If you want to help track this down, something you could do is to record an ETW trace (using the Windows Performance Recorder or another third-party software like https://randomascii.wordpress.com/2015/09/01/xperf-basics-recording-a-trace-the-ultimate-easy-way/) and attach it to this issue (I’ll make sure to download the trace and remove it from here to ensure its privacy).
