Steps to reproduce

I’ve just signed up for a browserstack account via the “Introducing free testing of Microsoft Edge with BrowserStack” flow linked on this page, but all of the Edge versions on their start page are greyed out:
Greyed out Edge versions
and clicking on any of them, prompts me to buy a plan:
To test on all our 1100+ browsers, please buy a plan
and there are no free, or free-edge-testing plans available to select. Is Microsoft still partnered with Browserstack to offer free testing of Edge, or has that stopped being a thing?

Comments and activity

  • Since it looks like there’s no way to edit the post, this is the greyed out Edge versions:

and this is the prompt to buy a plan:

  • Microsoft Edge Team

Changed Assigned To to “Charles M.”

    Changed Status to “Confirmed”

  • BrowserStack is currently experiencing issues with spam requests to the free offer and have had to suspend it temporarily while they figure out mitigations. Apologies for the inconvenience.

  • Microsoft Edge Team

Changed Status from “Confirmed” to “Fixed”

  • The offer has been restored - please try signing up with BrowserStack again. Thanks!

  • It doesn’t work, it is grayed out and unavailable again. Please reconsider advertising their “free” edge option.

  • It’s says “Free” here:

But as others have said, it’s not free at all on BrowserStack.
I cannot choose to test on ANY Microsoft browser without buying a plan.

  • Yeah, it doesn’t seem there’s free Edge environment.

  • This still seems to be an issue? Has anyone signed up recently for Free Edge testing?
